So,

nachdem es mittlerweile die ersten Beschwerden gegeben hat, dass ich mich noch nicht gemeldet habe - hier der erste Bericht über unseren Spanienaufenthalt!

Nach einer unspektakulären Anreise mit eigentlich keinen Komplikationen, haben wir unser Hotel besichtigt bzw. eingecheckt. Die (nur)2 Sterne haben mich ürsprünglich etwas skeptisch gemacht, aber ich wurde letztendlich positiv überrascht und musste feststellen, dass es eigentlich mindestens 3 Sterne verdient hat! Essen und Frühstück ist typisch Spanisch und daher grundsätzlich sehr gut, aber halt nicht für jedermann... ;-)
Am ersten Flugtag ging es gleich in die Nähe von unserer Unterkunft in Adra, nach Guainos. Mit einer Höhedifferenz von ca. 400m, glaubt man eher an etwas gemütliches, aber im Grunde ist es ein Hammerberg mit sehr guter Termik. Ein Einstandstag mit Bedingungen die man sich wünschen kann!




Leider wurde dieser Tag von einigen Zwischenfällen überschattet, welche aber alle durch die Bank gut ausgegangen sind und zu keinen größeren Verletzungen geführt hat!


Am nächsten Tag ging es gleich am Vormittag weiter nach Castala. Ein Fluggebiet eher im Hinterland, auch nicht weit von Adra. Im Hintergrund die Kulisse der Sierra Nevada und im Vordergrund das Meer gleich hinter der nächsten Hügelkette. Der Tag war wiedermal perfekt mit Traum Bedingungen und Steigwerten von bis zu knapp 9 m/s, bis an die Basis in der Höhe von ca 2200m. Einige Leute gingen auf Strecke und schafften den einen oder anderen Kilometer. ;-)
Ursprünglich war die Thermik zwar noch sehr kleinräumig und ruppig, wenn nicht schon fast unangenehm. Aber im laufen des Tages wurde es besser und gleichmäßiger, sodass es noch angenehme Flüge für die fast ganze Gruppe wurden.




Tag 3 fand seinen Anklang wieder in Guainos, da es leider ein wenig Abgekühlt hat. 15 Grad im Schatten am Strand hat uns davon abgehalten wieder ins Hinterland zu fahren. ;-P
Daher haben wir uns entschlossen erstmal wieder an der Küste zu fliegen und vielleicht später nach Castala zu fahren. Wie es halt immer spielt, kam es letzendlich natürlich anders. Erst, wie geplant in Guanios mit angenehmen Bedingungen und nicht ganz so ruppiger Thermik wie letztens, aber dafür mit höheren Arbeitshöhen, waren wieder super Flüge drinnen!
Um ca. 14.30h ging es dann kurzfristig weiter nach Carchuna, ca. 40 km westlich von Adra. Eine echt super Soaringkante direkt am Meer. Zwar nur 150m Höhenunterschied, aber dafür top-laminarer Wind und eine Kulisse die Seinesgleichen sucht. Ich hoffe sehr, dass wir diese Woche noch einmal dort hin kommen, da dieses Fluggebiet für mich persönlich das Highlight des bisherigen Urlaubs war. Genau so stelle ich mir Küstensoaren vor.... ;-)



Sodale ... :-) ... ich hoffe ich konnte ein wenig Eindruck über den bisherigen Urlaub vermitteln. Das Wetter sollte aus jetziger Sicht bis zu unserer Heimreise schön bleiben und daher kann man wohl auf einen weiteren Bericht in den nächsten Tagen gespannt sein - also bis dahin, viel Spaß mit dem Schnee und die dazugehörigen Minustemperaturen daham! ;-)
